We purchased this monitor on April 6, 2010 from Walmart, Clarenville. We have only used this monitor occasionally and so far we haven't had to use new batteries. We were concerned by the low readings so the doctor checked it for us and his machine read 134/82 but ours read 100/83. With the reading off so much it isn't dependable. R. Ryan
